    Default Lake Secession 10-13-17

Still catching Crappie over brush fishing 10ft deep in 20fow using small minnows.
Kept 35 today (thought it was 40) and threw about that many back to grow.
Saw quite a few boats out today Crappie fishing.

Nice mess of crappie, thanks for sharing some pics. Now I want to hit the water myself and catch some.

Good catch and enjoyed the report. It’s really amazing with the draw down that the numbers are still good and the size looks good.
Congrats on all the trips and catching.

Sinkermaker and I were there also. We only managed a dozen mixed bag of Crappie and Spotted Bass. Were you in the glass boat with a Mariner on the back? We saw that boat anchored over brush just down from the ramp around the first turn. Also saw Jack (Bigtime) who was pulling jigs like us.
We didn't want to fight the wind, but sounds like y'all did all right.

Me and ray were over there today. I was in the champion walleye boat. I was going to bring the tight line rods but the wind was so bad I just brought the pulling rods. Ray kept all the fish so not sure how many we caught. Still had a fun day and ready to do it again. For the most we finally figured we were fishing below the active fish.

Looks like a camo aluminum boat from photo. Could be wrong though.

I think you are right, I see that now, Tim. My eyes as tired along with the rest of me. The guys in the glass boat must have done well because they sat in one spot most of the morning.
