Thread: Stumpy pond 3-11,,PM

Went to stumpy pond after church today,got there going on two o'clock,fished till just after six.Tightlined minnows,caught 36,with 31 being crappie.caught all fish deep,most everything close to 20 foot down,had some real good fish in the mix,only had four throwbacks.They bit very very lightly today,you would have to concentrate hard to see if it was a bite or not,almost every fish was that way.Used very small minnows from R&G's,shoulda got 18 for a dozen price they were so small.Anyway,it was a very blessed day on the water.

good job sam,wish we could have stayed on awhile,we got down about 7 and left around noon,had other things to do,good day on the water though

I have not been to stumpy pond But I have been wanting to get out there.
Did you get them by the dam or what.

gabowman,we were drifting,bumping the trolling motor/fighting the wind.the wind was blowing us too fast to just go with it so we faced the wind and kinda stayed on the motor.
