Thread: Stumpy Pond 3-11-07

Me and Crappie Snapper went down to the Stumphole this morning and caught a few slabs,we ended up bringing 36 home,had a few dinks we kept for Mr Whiskers bait,we caught probably 50,threw a few back to grow up,we had about 15 that ranged from 1 1/4 lbs to 2lbs,with a few from about 3/4 to 1 lb,then the dinks,caught all fish tightlining with minnows,caught some on jigs tipped with minnows,water temp was 57 and stained,a little trash still floating around,not a bad day,a whole lot better than its been lately

where bouts on stumpy? the ceeek at debutary landing? or the stumps to the right of the other rso called ramp? give us a hint!

fish are biting just about everywhere,there were a good many boats down and all were catching fish that we observed,most of ours came near stumpfield on right on towards the big island,most fish were caught in 22 to 26ft deep,i took a few pics,i will post as soon as i can get my resizer to work,i got a new puter and the resizer aint letting me get the photos under max size,i'm working at it
