i went to bed early and woke up while ago and couldnt go back to sleep so i stayed up. when you start gettin old your internal clocks sometimes get outta whack and you dont know if you coming or going......i got a feeling its gonna be a long day. fortuantly i have a good stash of golden amber on hand . I sure hope you are having to work today so you can contribute some of that tax money to my retirement fund

Quotes and musing from two old men, famous old men, to mark the day's event:

Well is it 5:58, 4:58, or 6:58? Thank you Ben Franklin for your thoughts on Daylite savings time. My dog always lets me know when it is time to get up, when she is hungray she barks until I get up.

On a fishing note, the ole jig master, yours truly, went to the lake yesterday morning, it looked like the new proposed landfill in our area just got a jump on the dumping. At the mouth of the Allison Creeks, debris and to quote Rango, "Coffee one Cream". I did not wet a jig, buddy did for an hour, not so much as a bump. So I guess the color of jigs does not matter when the fish can't see them. I thought of another quote from another "old man", Ben Franklin, "All cats are grey in the dark". I think ole Ben was speaking on the subject of women but it could apply to yesterday's moca colored water. Anyway, God bless you Rango and Ben, Thank you Rango for all you do for this site and our love of Crappie. I am not so sure about ole Ben and daylight savings though, I will let you know if I fall asleep in church this morning. 3G's
