    Default Water at Russell

Did a bit of riding today. Looks like everything below Coldwater creek on the main lake is still clear. Coldwater is stained and farther up still looks too muddy for night stalking. In the backs of Pickens and Coldwater is still soupy. Vans Creek looks clear and Beaverdam looks fine too. I'm sure farther down the lake is OK.

Thanks for the report. I'm still debating on going in a little while. I've got my stuff ready, just not sure if I'm going yet. If I go, I'll let ya'll know how the Rocky River side is.

Never been in Rocky River. Heard ALOT about it though. Unless it looks like rain, I'll either be in Vans Cr. or Beaverdam Cr. Sunday nite. (Probably Vans since Ive never fished there.)

The Allen Creek area is still muddy, but nothing like last weekend. Forgot my light tonight still managed a few, but the guys with the light wore them out.

I got delayed last night, but finally got there and set up around 8:00 and when I turned on my star fire, it lit up nothing but mud! I fished there about an hour and caught one small one. Moved down the lake about a mile and it was a little clearer, but only caught two and decided to pack up and leave. I marked a lot of bait fish and fish below, but it wasn't a very productive trip. Maybe next weekend!

The water was 58-60 degrees and I caught the three fish about 15ft deep, fishing in 25-30ft deep.
