SInce Lake Russell was soooo muddy last weekend I am thinking of going north a bit. I am hoping to fish Hartwell north of Clemson. Can anyone give me a heads up as to water color there?

I do fish hartwell but was just in Anderson today and from I seen of the lake it was muddy. I was not in a boat so can't say about the whole lake just what I saw from the road.
I have crossed the lake sevral times in difrent places the last few days the closer to the main lake body or river channels the clearer the water.
Didnt make it to the lake today to look, but if Russell is clear it would be on the lower end. Gonna look a little tomorrow for Sunday nite.
Clahoon falls was pretty clear and also uplake about 2 1/2 miles on Tues.Originally Posted by gabowman

Well I guess I will try the Lowndesville Park area. If both lakes are muddy might as well go to the one that they have been biting at even though I have no clue of any spots. Guess I will hit the DNR spots and then scout some.
