Default Little pond with more surprises

I shared a picture a few weeks back of a 6# LM that one of our members caught (and released) in our little 1-2 acre club pond. My son gave me one of the latest models of a top water frog and I fished it all over the pond Wednesday night. I had one roll at it but did not hook up.
Our club president sent me this picture today. Caught on a top water frog at 1:30 PM today. 9.7 pounds, I would have had to have a replica mount made if I caught it. My PB LM is 8# caught in 1965.Name: 6888.jpg

Great catch, my personal best was 9.3 caught in Barnett Rez. 1977. Congrats!

That's a really nice fish! Congratulations to him. Thanks for sharing.

    I would say that's a Tilapia.

Looks like a Tilapia which probably explains the big bass.
You can't catch fish from the couch.
