Got out yesterday by myself on Big Allison. I was fishing for bass using drop shot rigs & spoons. Done pretty good but most were small. Only 1 was around 4 lbs.
Today, Rich & myself went out for whatever would bite. Tried several brush piles for crappies but did not get any. The perch were biting fast on minnows & cut bait. Most of the perch were on the small side. I caught several bass on the drop shot. All the bass were released to grow.
Where have all the big perch gone to???

What amazed me was no crappie on the piles, they usually bite good in the summer until early afternoon, have you caught them in the past on the same piles? Thank you for the report.
