    Default Murray this Saturday

Thought about coming down to Murray Sat. morning putting in somewhere looking for a few stripers. Just wondering if some people could update me on the water conditions with all this rain we gonna be getting. Thanks in advance.

What area do you plan to fish? Lower lake, where the bulk of the fish are will be fine but get there early because all the pleasure boaters will run you off quickly.

Upper upper lake coves are dingy we have had a lot of rain and supposed to rain again tomorrow. Anywhere from the gap down should be good.

I was in the John's Creek area Saturday morning for an hour or so just trying out some new equipment and trolling buck tails. Saw lots of fish but they were very deep (60+ feet) and difficult to reach trolling. One thing I did notice was all the grass (needle?) in the water. Kept fowling my lines while trolling.

Thanks for the info guys. Haven't really decided where to fish at yet. Haven't been on Murray since Jan. so don't even really know where to start at. And your right about all the pleasure boaters, they will be out in full force in no time.

They have been catching a lot of fish in bear creek. Good place to start.
