    Angry boat control?

sorta off the subject here but.... did anyone see any of the bassmaster classic this past weekend? one of the top anglers, and a really nice guy, got disqualed for unsafe boating. he came flying thru other boats a little to fast and they dq'ed him. his defence was ,he was a profeshional and this was genearal practice. the other bass anglers agreed {on camara} but yet the judges didnt. is this the genarel attitude of bass boaters? are the judges waking up? is there no concern for fellow boaters anymore. Denny Braur has a compressed spine from gittin dropped in a wake from another boat.i beleave the no wake zones should be all the way across the river at ramps and at least down to cruising speed within 200 yrds of another boat. maybe set a top end speed on the whole lake except the main channel, i have seen guys git thrown off there own docks by these idiots! how bout some night time speed limits? you tellin me 75 mph is safe at night? i aint never caught a fish at 75 mph! and lets outlaw jet ski's while we're at it. and designate ski area's and,and and,...... just my thoughts.

I think we need an open season on jet skies. And skiers that get close enough to hit with a spinner bait should be fair game as well. That would solve the problem. They would be as hard to find as deer and turkey.

If it was easy...everyone would be doing it..

I know what your saying and part way agree ... BUT I would rather have a bass boat come past me @ 80MPH throwing a 3-4 " wake than a small 14' boat come past @ 1/2 throttle throwing a 3 foot wake !!

I mainly troll for crappie & many times I troll in open water for them .I MUCH rather have fellow boaters go past wide open than slow down ( trying to be polite ) but instead they throw this HUGE WAKE .

in the past I have seen a few boats that had me wondering "what if" they loose control when they were passing a group of trollers & really wish I could just be out there ALL Alone and not have any traffic BUT I know that isnt going to happen

ya i saw it....in his defense tho, most bass boats although unsafe, on plain running 3/4 usually leave not much of a wake. still annoying id rather them come by cruising speed than all out.
if at first you dont succeed............drink another beer
    Gotta go.......FISH ON !!
I only fish on days that end in"Y"

I actually won a Jet Ski last year.
I told them I didn't want the damn thing so they gave me money instead.
