Hey Rango, Ive got one and Panman has one. I haven't used mine enough to give you a report except they are very easy to see, even in bright sunlight. Keith (Panman) can give you a lot more info. I got mine because I can put my Hot Spots card in one slot and a blank card in the other. Put it in record mode and after you get home you can review (using a free program from Lowrance) every place you have been and mark waypoints for the brush and condos you went over.

Rango,i just bought me a new GPS/Sounder combo,i got the Gamin GPSMAP 398 Sounder,I love it,I know you prefer Lowarance, but my point is I did alot of looking around and finally decided which unit I wanted and ordered mine online, you would not believe the savings you can get on a google search, just go to google and enter your product search and then do the shop and compare prices deal,I went to the stores and looked and used to see what i like and then came home and looked it up and saved $125 from the BPS,Boaters World and Cabelas prices,I know online ordering can have its problems, just use a trusted site,I got mine from J and H Products Marine Electroics Superstore, hope this helps out

you might try an Eagle system. There are made by Lowrance at a good savings. A good depth finder and GPS is critical to get on the fish and be safe on the water. Money well spent.

I know lowrance makes good products, but====My problem ways never resolveded withm them, I just quit bothering them. I made a recording of the gps sonar, but when I tried to go to the exact location that was shown on the recording it was nowwhere close to where I was.(dry land), even the date and time stamp was not even close. I sent the entire log to lowrance and the head sup. said they give it to one of their best tech. They give me his number to call, but all I ever got was his voice mail.-------i just gave up which I know is what they want. I just dont use the recording device anymore, but it was fun to look at at your personal pc.
