    Default 7-4-15 WIND report

Pretty BAD! This is what the lake looked like at 7:00.I wouldnt have went but I had told my cousins husband that I would take him today,.Today NC had a free fishing day,you didnt have to have a license to fish,so thats why we went.
Was the SECOND boat to the hotspot today,,A SAILBOAT passed me on the way out!!!

We fought the wind from the start longlining and was able to connect on a good many, average size probally in the 9 inch class with the biggest just over 11 inches. The wind would move the rods so much in the holder you'd have to look hard to see if it was a bite or the wind.Adam enjoyed the trip and can now say he has caught crappie off a jig.

Folks allways ask me,,Sam how do you get your dogs to eat that raw fish? I say,,I jus start em off early. These pups like the :fat off the top and bottom of the fillets.Hard to get a good picture.

and last, what best to wash down fresh sushi??Moms milk of course
    HEY,,WATCH THAT YELLOW ROD

That was a lot of rolling water to fish but looks you put him on some biting fish. I thought all dogs liked fresh caught fish uncooked, LOL like you Sam I started Rosco on it from day one in the boat. I have to watch him because he has a liking for fish tails

Atta boy Sam! Gl;ad you was able to find a bite and get your kin off minners and onto jigs. Glad yall caught some fish and as always I enjoy those pics of the dogs. I gotta say that my dogs love those little "shrimps" off the top and bottom of the fillets too.

I thought those puppies were short legged walkers! Still a good day to be out on the water and catching fish.
