    I always use double rigs while trolling. Most of my rods are telescoping so I collapse them and wrap the weight around the crank on the reel. If I don't have telescoping rods, I just put a hook into one of the eyes on the rod and lay the rod in the floor of the boat.

    Just two hooks or jigs on a line you can wrap around the pole. Just those wired crappie rigs get more tricky.
