    Default Liberator almost home.......

After much delay and financial set back the SS Minnow Liberator made her way to Tommy Farmer's place to have the electrical system checked over and the motor serviced before her maiden voyage with her new threads.I shortened the front deck by 24" as I was very unhappy with the design and had to have it welded twice due to it breaking the bracket loose from the toon.So the trailer had to be altered slightly to accomodate the shorter front end.Notice the new front stops that I put on yesterday.I should have her back by Thursday of next week so the Tater lake fishing event will be almost the first trip out.I say almost because I would never let her be christened unto Tater lake when Wylie is her home.So I look to fish Thursday and Friday night at Wylie probably.I dont want to count my chickens just yet , but if it goes as planned , I want to take all you guys who's been taking me for the last 4 months while I was without a ride.It means a lot to me , and you know who you are , that I didn't have to do without while the boat was down. Thanks also to Fishtales and Bearclaw who turned me on to this aluminum decking that made my world a better place.I owe you guys a trip as well.I am putting a couple pics I snapped yesterday on the camera phone. Thanks again guys.

get your check book out eric. i now have 39 lol... i added a couple more in some vacant spots. we cant have no dead water around the beast....im not gonna watch no more than 7 myself, (6 tightlines and one lighted bobber) but i dont want the crew to get lazy on me... im actually considering moving my fishing spot to the center of the boat so one of the young bucks on the crew can make a spread off the back like davey has on the front. question is, which one of em wants a job like that. travis said he could handle it. we will see....

Damn...... I got 30 for it right now and thats just covering the sides. The front and back are still completely open.I believe that with a bit more money I could fit 50 around her easily. While that would be a thing to behold and a thing of beauty , I dont know if maybe it's a bit much :D The way she is layed out right now , I could fish 6 comfortably and eight in a pinch.I just dont know if she'd carry that much weight. We'll see.
