i wound up my remodeling of the beast this evening and got everything back on it and ready to go. I gotta admit that she looks pretty good. my next project will be to redo the rod boxes and the front deck. what ive done so far is about all i wanna bite out of that apple right now. its been a tough job. a lot tougher puttin the aluminum in than the ply wood we put in when i bought it. tomorrow i gotta hook up the power to the front and back lowrance and do a little clean up around the boat and im good to go......

Why dont you take some pics of the remodled beast for us before it gets littered up with empty meds and the pickeled eggs flake the paint.

Rango having fished with you several time now , I think it's down right funny how you talk about the crew's gassy outbursts When the reality is , the crew is doing their best to stay on the upwind side of the boat.I wouldn't want to start no mutiny here , but I think they been dosing your meds with beeno

Thats great to hear Rango! I can't wait to see what the new Beast looks like.Hopefully I'll be able to get loose from all this work stuff and do a stalk soon. I told Travis today that you'd rigged up the back of the boat for him. Man he is chomping at the bit to get to try it out! He said he might be interested in a saturday night stalk. I'll get back to you on that. Just let me know wether or not it might be a possibility.

thanks chris. it was tough, working with that aluminum. If i remember right it took me and davey one day to do the orginal flooring and walls when i bought the boat using plywood. i went from tuesday through tuesday working on it every day but the one day it rained. but it wasnt all day each day. id come and go with the project as i could.the worst was having to get in and out of that boat from the ground so many times. bob helped me last saturday . it was a big help for him to be in the boat puttin in screws while i cut and toted the metal. i was suprised at the condition of the plywood tho. the outer layer was flaking and peeling which made it look bad, but the rest of the wood was still solid so there was still plenty of years use out of it before it would had to be replaced. dont know how much weight i got rid of but it has to be considerable. i cleaned the old stuff out of the yard yesterday and it being soaked weighed a ton. so i made some good savings there
