    Smile Wateree Fishing

Went up to Wateree last Tues and Wed. to try a little fishing . Ending up finding the fish in Wateree Creek. This report is a little late but maybe someone can use this information. We ended catching ( in 2 days, did not spend the night) 28 largemouth bass, 14 stripers and 50 white bass. The white bass were very good size, about 2lbs each, the stripers were around 4 to 5 lbs, and the bass were from 1 1/2 to maybe 3 lbs. Loads of bait fish everywhere in the backs of creeks. Lots of people fishing for crappie in the mouth of Wateree Creek. We caught these fish fishing along the banks throwing shad type lures. Hope these fish stick around this week, can't go back until Wed. Good fishing to all Mitch

I saw one man pull up too a spot and he must have been trolling because 3 poles went down at the same time. He threw out a marker, and sit there and caught 5 or 6 more crappie.
