Thread: 9 ft crappie rods

i understand cabellas has the 9 ft ugly stick crappie rods on sale. this is a good time to pick up a couple of em if you leaning that way.

Are the 9 footers all that you use or do you stagger the lenghts and put some of the shorter rods in you set up as well?

Thanks for the heads up, I just went & looked , they are 27.99 each, Might get me 2 more to replace the ones we broke ( inferior product , eagle claw maybe ? LMAO ) at the last Rodeo last year

gooch i usually fish three 9 footers on one side of the light out in the dark water and the short ultra lites on the other side of the light in the lit water. seems different nights they want the bait in different places. sometimes ill stager the rods. one short, one long, like that.. i dont usually fish but six rods, and one with a lighted bobber if the current and wind lets me fish it on my end of the boat.
