    GA,
the wife took me saturday night we went to murray not much to show. I think we ended up keeping 6 -- 3 crappie, 2 catfish, 1 white perch, started about dark and left @ 10:45pm, gobbs of bait but no fish. Tried santee thursday all day and only caught 1 @ 3lbs.

will be back at it Monday got a fish fry saturday to cook for.

I haven't been in a while! For the past two months I have been back and forth between here and CT, working. I am more than ready to go fishing!

I am sure Rango would be happy to know that I just added another Ugly Stick to my collection.

Dont understand it! Baitfish was balled up down from 5 to 15 feet deep with lines on top of lines stacked up underneath the bait but no takers. Getting some short strikers then they'd drop the minnow. Fished for two hours and not much to show, only four crappie. Was glad to get out and do a little looking on the finder. Glad to see there are some balls of bait fish to be found and fish to be found. Water temp was 71.3 degrees and I was set up in 31 feet of water. I'll be hitting this place again as the water cools off more.

I got a chance to move the boat over the weekend...to mow the grass growing around it!! I havent been in over a month. Ive been in backpacking mode since early Sept., went on a 76 mile/ 6 day backpacking trip 1st week of Oct. and still putting gear away and catching up on chores. Hope to get on the lake Saturday if everything goes right.

I fished Russel pretty hard today and have little to show for it. Only about 8 Crappie and 3 Green Carp. I tried tight lining and trolling as well. I couldn't hit on anything they wanted. Atleast 4 of the Crappie were big enough and they tasted good with supper.:D
