theres a wildlife office in york. i dont think they issue numbers , but you may be able to get your renewal stickers there. as long as you got the paperwork showing youve done the renewal application you should be ok if you get stopped for a check.
listen with your eyes---its the only way to beleive what you hear...
In NC there are places locally where you renew your stuff in person, they give you a piece of paper that makes you legal until your sticker arrives in the mail, seems like SC would be the same way. 803-734-3857 is the # to call to find out...good luck
I can only wish to be as good as my dog thinks I am
Thanks guys.I knew of the place in York but I was told by a friend that they handle no paper work stuff there at all.He was trying to do the same thing with a water lice rocket.

I did it in person when I purchased my used boat. It was not a problem and I did it in conjunction with business trips to Columbia from the UpState. I visited the main office downtown at 1000 Assembly Street and have returned to that address several times. I noticed lines around noon time other wise I had a short wait. Just make sure you have everything thing, ID, back-up ID, and all documentation associated with your boat just in case.
Thanks msdelta.I think I might take a ride.Originally Posted by msdelta

I always just ride done there to get my stuff done, just make sure you have everything when you go. You can call them before you leave and they will tell you everything that you need to bring ( they are very helpful). I have never had to wait long either. You can park on the street out front also.

There's also a wildlife office in Rock Hill, in the building across from YorkTech. That's where I registered my boat.
John 21:3
Simon Peter said to them, "I am going fishing." They said to him, "We are going with you also." They went out and immediately got into the boat, and that night they caught nothing.
And we act like this Nightstalking thing is new.
For some excitment, read the next verse. A special guest arrived, they filled their coolers and had a fish fry on the beach...in the morning. My kind of people.- Bowfin
I payed my excise tax and all from the purchase there , but they said I had to go through Columbia for titling.Originally Posted by Bowfin

They did the title transfer and registration for me and gave me a slip stating I owned the boat. I got the title(s) in the mail around 2 or 3 weeks after.
Sound sliek if you want title in hand, Columbia is the place to go.
