Hey Homespun if you are doing any fiberglass work you may want to check out US Composits.I used there products on the last boat I did. There price was good and they knew there products very well.

I am going to redo my boat floor soon. I am giving it serious thought to using that new composite decking material the sell at home depot. I dont like carpeting and The composite should last forever.

    Yank,
you gotta think of the wieght could possibly change the preformance of your boat and motor. That's one of the reasons for the marine ply it's lighter than the treated and no voids. I'm not sure of the composite per sq ft.

    Cspen,
I get alot of my boat building supplies from florida there's a ton of places there I generally go to Bateau.com they sell plans and supplies.
    thanks

I was going to cut grooves in the back to lessen the weight. I should be able to retain the strength and lessen the weight. I am not one for speed really I dont really use the outboard that much maybe 30 min on my typical wateree trip. Trolling motor is more important to me.
