    Default never any Wylie reports?

Well I'm guessing that the fishing on Wylie stinks.
Last night I tried a little night stalk on Big Allison.
I looked around for signs of bait in the water and ended setting up almost directly across from the spot where the ramp is. Just across the river where the water goes into the cove and it stays nice and deep. Set up at the mouth. Man, this sure looks like it would hold fish, with a huge point running off one side and a deep water creek that goes pretty far back.
Anyway after 2 hrs and ZERO bites, I move to the middle of the river at the huge brush pile on the hump. Got one cat that I kissed and released. Headed home.
Maybe all the fish are shallow now, maybe all the perch are dead. I have forgotten what a crappie looks like but I'm going to the aquarium in Charlotte, maybe they have one on display.

for one reason or another, i havent been doing any crappie fishing so havent had anything to report about on wylie.. the few nightstalkers left i know are doing pretty good. Not the big numbers we once caught, but good enough to satisfy their craving for some fish.

I'd stay out of Allison. I did have luck once upon a time further back in Crowders.
Maybe that'll be my next minnow donation to the food chain.

    Mike,
I think I'm going to have to pass on Wateree.
I've got too much to do here and got no closer to being done today.
Did you get your striper lesson?

i don't know about the nightstalking but i have been catching large numbers of fish over the last week in about every depth but i have been long lineing the creeks and backs of coves. went saturday afternoon from 5 till 8:30 and caught over 50 fish and i only had 15 perch, i had about 20 dinks i had to throw back because of size (under 8") the fish are spread out but when you hit a school it isn't out of the norm to have 8+ on at a time. i made a giant circle in one cove and everytime i passed my marker i would hang atleast 4 and on 3 passes i had 8 on, it's alot like work but it sure is fun.:D i went this afternoon for about 2 hours didn't catch a fish the first hour , checked my riggs and they were all covered with trash and you couldn't see the jig. cleaned the lines tossed them back out and had 6 fish on in the first 5 min 4 crappie a bass (5lb) and a perch about a lb ended the night with 9 crappie and 12 perch all caught in 9' or less.
