Thread: Rango, did you and the Mrs go crappie fishing last Friday?

Do any good? I may head over to fishin creek or stumpy pond tomorrow morning (Wed.) and try my luck. I just picked up a new ugly stick to pair with an old reel I had. I'm going to make some downsize rigs like you made for striper fishing. I also picked up a few buoys to drop if I mark some fish. I'll try minnows a few feet from the bottom in the creek mouths near the channel and see what I can come up with, whether I see fish on the finder or not.

Enjoyed meeting you the other week and had a good time fishing. Thanks again. I don't know if I'll get out that early tomorrow. May be a mid day trip by the time I get my minnows and drop the boat in the water.

no, we dint get to go. ive had several trips planned but cant seem to get away, with this invalid we having to watch. im still trying to get away for a day trip, and the wifes on vacation this week. day trippin aint looking good for me right now, unless its on a weekend. with the old woman here, i cant get away when i want to but when i can. If you locate the channels and get the baits down there and dont drift too fast, somewhere in that channel youll find em. I enjoyed your company to. looking foward to another trip when we can work it out.
