We headed to the swamp again today. Should have stayed home. The water was .8' above flood. You couldn't get to the floating dock. But we put in anyway and went on down to Broadwater... Dodging all the stuff floating in the river.
The water is out both sides of the bank in Broadwater. Water temp has dropped down to 48 degrees and dingy. No bites on anything by anything.... Just a trip to the swamp. It's going to take a while before it get back into the banks.... I've found a site on line that I can monitor the river level and it's sampled about every hour... I guess I'll have to find some other place to fish now for a while.
Those large white perch at Murray sound good... Or maybe I need to start trying crappie at Wateree.

I'm agree with you think I'm headed back to watteree Wesnesday. I figured the water in the swamp was messed up. Was on watteree about a week and half ago and did pretty good.
