Hit the lake around 11 this morning. Tightlined minners in 20 foot of water around the fork of the rivers. Water is muddy up in the Reedy, so I stayed around the forks. Only kept 5 but they were hogs. No eggs, so I'm hoping they were males. I ended up catching 14. Water temp was 47 when I got there, but got up to 50. I could have caught more but just sat in the same spot enjoying the sun. It was an awesome day.
Congrats on your catch. I can't wait to try Russell tomorrow.
Get Da Net! :D
Gongrats on your catch and day, can't wait to fish greenwood. Do you know if they opened the ramp in the state park yet?

Hey TimK. I probably saw you out there and did not know it. We fished from about 10:30 until 3 and caught 21 crappie. Had 8 keepers with the biggest being 15 inches. It was a beautiful day on the lake and I hope the weather stays the way it is because I am ready to fish. About another week or two and think Greenwood will be ready. It sure did feel good to catch some fish!!
To make life enjoyable, you must have crappie days.
