Thread: John Deere

Found something to occupy my time/money while the fishing is s-l-o-w :D

I am attempting a restoration of one of my grandfathers old tractors (John Deere Model L). If anyone has seen one of these around for parts or know someone that might let me know. There are a few things that I am missing and it is not like they still make parts for a 60+ yr old Deere. Below are two pics of the model that I am restoring (mine is neither as nice or as bad as those pictured).

That will be a good project. Takes a long time and lots of hair pulling but if you enjoy working on the old things it will be fun to work on. If I see a tractor like that setting anywhere I'll let you know and good luck!
