The attachment thing probably isn't working because your pictures are too big. If you make a copy of the picture you want to post and open it in Microsoft Picture Manager you can click on the edit pictures tab and compress the picture for a web page. Then it should work.....

Make sure you make a copy of it though, otherwise you will be messing with your nice and big picture! After it's posted the smaller copy can be deleted.

    Hope this helps

I use Microsoft Picture It, Premium 10. came loaded on this puter. but probably get it or something like it bout anywhere. lot of folks use PhotoBucket. as stated before make sure the image size is within the attachment guidelines.size it in pixels not inches. 680x420 works almost perfect for all mine.in the program I got it has a resize image button on left side near bottom of tab.click it and put the 680x420 in the box and click done.open manage attachments on the C.C thread and browse for image from your puter. pick out the one and hit attach. hope this aint to confusing. good luck.

this is the way my program looks. sorry not real clear. but the key is RESIZE in the pixels. you may have a slightly different program ,but somewhere in it there is a resize button. hope you can get it working. waiting to see some slab pics.

Alot of us store our pics from the camera right onto our 'puters. Whatever software you have is where these pics are stored. Here's a pic of my desktop and there's an icon that says Dell Picture studio (my picture software)

Once I click to open my pictures up then this screen comes up where the pictures I have stored are on the 'puter. (This is also where I upload off the camera to.) It looks like this.

Once I double click and open a picture I would need to click on Image, resize and this screen pops up.

I resize the top number to 680 pixels, and on this particular software the bottom number adds automatically and then I click OK and save. Now your picture is ready for uploading to CDC.

When youre making a post add your text and then scroll down to "manage attachments" and click on it. When the pop up comes up you hit browse and go to your picture folder and open the folder you saved the picture in and double click the picture you want to upload. Provided the picture isnt still too large it will upload successfully and will be added to the post after you submit it. Hope this helps.

My program is a pain to work with but it's the one that came with my camera so I'm stuck with it until I buy my next camera!
