Made it back up to Jocassee and played in a stiff breeze from daybreak to close to 4pm and caught two keeper browns. They went 18" and 19" with the biggest weighing 2lbs 10oz. Stopped and tried at the dam on the way to the landing since they were pumping back and as soon as we were about to start reeling in lines a rod bowed two times so I popped the release. I thought I had picked up a small log but it turned out to be an 8lb 2 oz carp. That wind may of had a bite to it but it couldnt slap the smiles off our faces at the end of the day.
Nice seeing yet another report with fish pictures.Cleon, I DO believe you have those trout figured out! Nice job!
