Thread: Finally a fishin report

Fished the upper end of murray today. Caught 25, only six were keepers and were let go at the boat ramp. Water was muuuuddddyyyyy!!!! Water temp was 44.3. Fish were suprisingly shallow. 10ft and above in 15 to 20 FOW.
Water was very muddy but to too trashy. All in all it was a good day.

That had to be better than eating ice cream!!!!!! It's great to see a report of crappie being caught. If the water could have a chance to clear a little I know we would catch some. Thanks for the report and congrats!!!

The rain is starting here now and they say it's going to rain all night. I got guys outside going to put in a new gas pack for my house and they don't know if they should start or wait until morning Things can quit at the dang-est times But either way, I have gas logs to stay warm tonight if they can't install the new one because of the rain

Tater chips or not, catching 25 crappie had to feel good. I dont know when I've heard of so many being caught lately in all these mudholes we call lakes. Congrats on the catch.

I agree with the others, FA. But you're a better man than I would have been, releasing those six at the ramp. I'm afraid after the tough spell we're going through that I would have "released to the grease" or "into Lake Canola" :D as some say around here....Right now I'd take a few and just make extra hush puppies or potato salad to make up the difference!
