You can usually find them in the Iwanta. If not a friend of mine gets his at a livestock sale somewhere near columbia. I can find out details if you want.

Call Joe at Lancaster Frozen Foods. He slaughters pigs weekly and keeps fresh pork, however a 50 pounder may require a special order...

Rango, call G & W INC. in Hickory Grove 803-925-2147 They can help you out, you can get it split or cracked, head on or off. Tell them what you need. Also Piggly Wiggly in Clover can order one for you 803-222-3500. But they charge more than G & W. Both need a few days to select and process for pick up. If you go with G & W they have a menu list of other cuts of meats and also prepare meat packages at pretty good rates... Ron

A couple of days before christmas you go up around Midland Pa. The whole hillside will be people cooking pigs on a spit. They have a pan underneath that catches the grease then they soak bread in it and eat it thick slices of bread. . Put that pig on a platter put a apple in it's mouth and you got some fine vittles.
