    Default Hog Bait Recipes??

Theys lots of hunters on this board that might have something to make nocturnal hogs show themselves during leagal hunting hours when I can shoot. I've used sour corn mixed with grape jello, they eat it up at night.

They seem to be alot smarter than deer.

Its a private lease in Lancaster Co. I would be afraid to use bait on GMA land. Especialy being from NC, those wardens would find a way to give me a ticket.

If they smelled the sour corn, they would think I was makeing moonshine!

Its a 26,000 acre gma close to myrtle beach. It is loaded with hogs. Some times you can just walk and stalk and see them.

Once a hog hunter told me to carry posthole diggers into the woods in a likely area with lots of hog signs and dig holes as deep as the posthole diggers will to. Fill with cracked corn and pour koolaid over it to fill the hole and the hogs wont leave the area until they get every last piece of that corn. I dont know...never tried it but if you ever do let me know how it works.
