i had acess to a boathouse once through a friend. the bank side of the boathouse was in water about six ft and it dropped off severely to about 25-27 ft on the lake side. it was the best place ive ever had acess to. my friend kept the brush up to date and you could almost count of catching a bucket of crappie when fishing in there.
another place we had acess to was a pier over deep water. the owner had cut about a 16 inch a square hole in the floor of the pier and had built a small plastic shelter just big enoug for two people to fish one rod each. if im not mistaken hed take the shelter down in warm weather. anyway, it was a great place to fish if the weather was bad. i spent many a day in that little hooch on cold windy rainy sleety days snug as a bug in a rug catching crappie. i think hugo cleaned that place out. and the boathouse, its gone to. they tore it down a few years ago.
