Thread: Wateree water conditions

Anyone know how the water looks down that way. It is mud red up here at Wylie and it is headed that way. Not sure how long it takes to get there.

There is so much water in wateree all the junk for the banks is floating in the lake.

We were at Wateree yesterday catfishing,water was coming over the dam at Cedar Creek,river was slam full of trash,logs and debris.We had to leave the river area on count of it,had several near misses on some sizable logs and brush while anchored,then they opened it up even more and we seen it coming even worse so we hightailed it.It was bad all the way to June Creek and I am sure further.Muddy as can be.

Muddy with debris everywhere, i went from colonels creek to cleawater and so much trash in the water its very hard to fish, even saw serveral boats floating around unmanned, water temp was 47-48 while i was there, which wasnt very long. Water was so high the ramp at colonels was not even visible.
