If'n the crappie don't start biting real soon Slab will have to close the S.C. board It's getting ruff in here The wife is gone now to get me some waders. :D

Who knows maybe Slab will devide the board into 2 sections 1/2 going to the NC and the other half going to the Georgia Bd. I imagine after the first of the year fishing will start to pick up, I hope anyway.

well it was'nt a good day for me.. Wateree still muddy and still has all the fish in it that was there when I got there. a big ZERO for us today. first time in many moons we got skunked. but that just lets em grow more for next time..

Ronnie it's hard enough when the odds are in your favor but I've learned over the years sometimes you just need to go with the flow. I really wanted to fish today but the odds said duck & deer hunting. We scratched out three mallards early this morning, came home changed clothes-picked up some buck shot and did a drive on some private property and my buddy killed a nice 6pt. buck....I put 4 duck breast in some olive oil in a skillet until med. rare and had a fine Christmas eve lunch....sometimes you have to play the hand you're dealt....I'll try the crappie Saturday, maybe things will pick up here shortly....
