When I crossed the river today on Hwy 5 the water was rolling down toward Wateree wide open. I hope its not to muddy when I go on Saturday.

The water has been running over the spillway below nitrolee the last couple of days. No floodgates open, just through the dam. Doesn't look any muddier than it was Sunday, but probably still a lot of trash in the river.

Caught 11 last weekend in the mud and trash all over the south half of the lake with a couple of buddies. Took a day and a half though. They seemed to be pretty scattered so we just kept searching. Get one here or there, never really found em concentrated. Only saw one school while fishing down aroung Clearwater but wasn't much to it. Pulled one baby striper out of it threw him back to grow up. Heading down Saturday to try it again for a few hours. Unfortunately don't have alot of time this weekend.
