    Default Russell Nightstalk 11-18

I thought with me asking everyone what the conditions on Russell were I'd go tonight and find out for myself. I figured with the water being 63 degrees I'd fish in a spot I usally have good luck during the warmer temps. I seen some bait on the fish finder going in but knowthing outstanding, set up anyway in31 feet of water and set there till 6:30 only getting 4 little bites and catching 1 Bluegill. The night was still young so I decided to move down toward the Savanna River to try a cove. Anchord in about 21 feet of water at 7 and in short order had bait around my lights. And that is it not a bite. at 8 I pulled anchors and headed for the ramp. I got skunked Me a thinken which that is kind of dangerous that a day trip is in order with the water being so warm and these fronts keep coming in.

Anyone remember what the water temp was this time last year???

Yeah, right Beagler, you wants me to remember something like that??????????? I can't even remember what I had for supper 2 days ago which I fixed! Any more, I'm doing good to find my way back to the house when I walk up to get the paper. Thank God I can follow that spoiled- rotten mutt back so she can find her bed!!!:D:D

And Carl, dont be too hard on that pooch. If she's that much trouble then just hollar and I'll come get 'er. My pooch and her would have some fun together.

I went through some past GON's and one year about this time the water temp was like 68, and other years it's below. From what I seen were pretty close to normal now. I'm just anxious for some cooler water I guess and haven't been searching enough to find the schools of bait. Who knows maybe tomorrow night.
