As Ridgerunner already stated in his post, we recreational fishermen need to stand up and be counted to make sure our rights to the PCB settlement monies are properly spent on improving Lake Hartwell rather than on other projects that will not directly benefit us as fishermen.
There will be a public meeting tonight, Tuesday the 17th, at the Anderson Civic Center beginning at 6 pm. A second presentation will be made at 7 pm. It is important that as many fishermen as possible attend so that our views will represented. At this meeting, a survey will be taken asking those in attendance to rate in order of importance a number of projects that the money can potentially be applied to.
If you are unable to attend, you can still make a very positive impact. Many Please take a few moments to complete the survey if you have not already done so at this link:

Let's hope our efforts result in great fishing opportunities for more anglers on Lake Hartwell! Thank you for your time!
