Started at clearwater about 7am. Looked for bait awhile dew to fog. Finally made it up to colonel creek and loaded the bait tank. Saw a couple boats in the mouth of the creek trolling. Started pulling there and headed toward the honey hole. Might have been better off staying in colonel creek. Only managed 2 stripers and a half dozen or so cats. Had several short hits, I'm guessing perch. Water was not as muddy as I thought it would be. About 58degrees surface temp when I got there. Birds were everywhere, but didn't see any schooling. Sorry for the late report.
thanks for the report.

A buddy of mine was down there on sunday and said the debris was down to the Beaver creek area.
i heard that the water to from ceder creek to beaver was stained to muddy, but from clearwater water cove down was pretty good....do you think the water is still moving down the lake and stain the entire lake or will things get better?
By th weekend things will be close to normally water today was still a little stained but not enough to keep me from fishing.
If people concentrated on the REALLY important things in life....
there would be a shortage of fishing poles !
Well, I am worthless! I backed out this morning, can't believe I dont this! Got up about 3:30 am, checked the weather, the wind was blowing like craze so I went back to bed. Now I wished I had went! The wind has commed down , here. I had a feeling it would.
