Me and Mrs SH went down to Calhoun Falls Park and met up with longliner43 and his wife. They were camping a few days this week and had had no luck with the crappie after the weather we had early this week. We set up near some standing timber for a nightstalk and fished until 9:30 with no fish for either boat!!!! He missed one fish while setting up and we had 4 small bites.
Not sure what is going on with the crappie, thought they would be holding in the timber and we could draw a few to us but we didn't. Had lots of bait come to the lights but nothing was chasing them.
The water was 64 degrees, water clear and calm. Air cool @ 9:30

There is my report Beagler just no fish!!

Thanks for the report SH. Even with the modern electronics we have to day fishing is still fishing and sometimes they just don't bite. I know though you had a good time meeting up with friends catching fish would have been extra, Who knows Burdawg may have caught them all.:D
It seem when the water is dead calm with no breeze or a ripple on the water I don't catch anything. Of course I don't know how to fish anyway.
