What do you Wateree striper gurus (ie. Thumper1) think all this rain will do to the striper bite down there?
Here comes the mud!! Also this much water will mix up the O2 levels and spread out the fish. When it gets colder, clearer, they will start to get more active and bunch up alittle bit more.
I don't fish because I want to, I fish because I HAVE to !
Moma tried real hard.
mud YES, scatter them...NO
once the water clears it will be on!
if at first you dont succeed............drink another beer
Gotta go.......FISH ON !!
I only fish on days that end in"Y"
With the 5 plus inches we got, I'm afraid they all might drown!!I think we need some cold weather to bunch them up in the honeyhole. In a couple of weeks, after the mud clears, it should be on. We have really killed them the last few years in December when you seperate the men from the boys when it gets down in the 20's, right Rango?
It should be cleared up pretty good by the end of next week but the water temp will be colder.
If people concentrated on the REALLY important things in life....
there would be a shortage of fishing poles !
