    Default Hartwell 11/8/09 report

Went back to the same area Sunday from 8am to 2pm and pulled downlines, freelines, and planer boards. Water temp was 63 to 65. It got hot out there, especially with no wind at all. The nice weather brought out the pleasure boaters too. Not as much luck as Wednesday but I think we have more good days ahead of us. Final count was 5 hybrid, 1 striper, and 1 nice largemouth. We missed a good many and had a nice fish break us off. All in all it was a nice day. Did notice a couple guys wearing out the crappie fishing under corks. At they pace they was catching them I'm sure they had a mess.

Hard to beat a good day on the lake, won't be long before the warm weather boaters will be gone for the winter.

Great report! I was plannin on headin out on Wed to check em out, but they're callin for 25+ mph winds. I know you can pull planers in wind, but that might be a little excessive! Keep the good posts coming!
