Thread: Fishing creek,11-08,,pm

Hit fishing creek today after church with an old friend.got on the water close to 2:00,fished till dusk.Caught 18 crappie,4 warmouth and a catfish.Kept 13 crappie,,biggest fish was the first fish caught,,1lb 5oz.

way to go Bearclaw. Was the water muddy? From the road the other day it looked pretty stained but kinda hard to tell with the glare.

CountryboyNC,we were minnow fishing.Pete,I got three 16 foot cane poles that I traded a unsuspecting/didnt know any better feller three ugly stick fishing rods I got at the flea market.All I wanted was the reels off of em but the guy went up $5.00 on the price if I got JUST the reels,,said since the tomato season was over he couldnt hardley give them away,,so I had to take the rods:D....I got bout as much crappie stuff as striper stuff,,I just dont use the crappie stuff much.I put new line on the ones I used today last night and wiped off the dust and cobwebs.
