Thread: Nothing Happening In Beaverdam Cr.

Gave up hunting this morning to give the fish a try. Wound up deciding on Beaverdam Cr. on Lake Russell so got the boat in the water around 9ish. Trolled the creek up near the powerline today without even catching a fish. Matter of fact, only saw one pole go down once, and whatever it was took my minner. Marked all kinds of bait balls, and saw what looked like a good many fish on the graph. There just werent any takers. Talked with 3 other boats and they werent doing anything either. Oh well, they'll be another day. Maybe I shoulda stayed home and went hunting.

Don't like them days either Seen lots of big bait balls the other day but when I would come across scattered bait that is where I would catch fish. Sometimes the hunting is better.

gabowman,,,ya know what woulda happened if you,d went huntn' ,,,ya wouldnta seen a thing and ya,d had said,,i knew i shoulda went fishn..never fails..better luck next time,,where it be n the woods or in the boat...still beat workn or sittn in the house...

If Gabowan didn't catch any they definetly weren't biting.
