Thread: Clarks Hill Reports Anyone???

I"m just wondering if anyone has fished the Hill Lately.
Anyone been recently???

Havent heard....'course FOM has been VERY QUIET lately.

Either the fish are not biting on the Hill or someone is catching the fish and going to wait until they stop biting before letting us know

I know Carl and Carlos were talking about going out Wed night, I expected a report from them. Probably not wanting to say anything for fear will all head that way to try to find there Honey Holes.

OM the other day and he said he has been sick. Did tell me about the hidbreds he caught on the Hill last time he went. But from the sounds of his voice he was or is sick. Was hacking and sounded like in a drum. He said he was feeling bettr, didn't sound like it. personnally I haven't had a chance to go since the get together. I am getting the shakes a little from not feeling the pull. Next week, plan on Wed morning but have to wait for Ms Jiggs to get he teeth worked on. might get out about noonish. Will be going toRussel this time. Let you know what happens.

One of my buddies has been going during the week and the crappie bite is very slow, but if you want stripers and hybryds just troll crappie jigs. I havnt been in a long while but have been fishing some ponds on post catching some pound crappie.

Hey Boys, as Jiggs said, I've been feeling lousy since Monday or Tuesday. And when I feel too bad to fish, you KNOW I'm really sick!

I had the day off on Fri and wanted to go so bad, but I just walked around awhile and went back to bed.

Today, I felt halfway decent although I have a hacking cough. I debated whether I would feel like trying a little bit, and finally decided to go out to Russell for the last hour of the day. Although I didn't catch but five crappie, three were over a pound! And to add to that, I also caught a 2 1/2 lb green carp that bent my crappie pole double! Let me tell you....those fish were a better medicine than ANY tonic! :D

I'll post pics tomorrow. Starting to feel a bit low again and headed for bed.

Sorry to hear youre under the weather William. We all thought you were just on a hot spot and wasnt talking! With everything going around these days, you better take care of yourself. And when you get to feeling better, let me know. We'll go fishing!
