Got to the lake around 12:30 and tried long lining. Set out 8 rods with double jigs on each rods. First hour didn't get a bite so I tipped the jigs with minnows and that got them biting. The water was 65.5 with little to no wind and not much boat traffic. Most fish were caught in 18' water and I believe the jigs were running about 6 to 8' deep. Caught total of 19 and brought home what in the picture. Biggest was 1 pound 3/4. The bite stopped at 4 pm. Nice on the lake today

Nice, I'm going to have to check out Russell!!
Ronnie, was you trolling flats, over channel ledges, trolling deep banks, or along the trees?Yea, yea, I know. You was probably next to your secret stump!
:D:D
Was close :D:D Started off catching them over channel ledges, the deep side of the ledge from 1:30 til 2:30 and then had to move up to the flats. They were still close to the ledge but would not bite in the deeper water. I guess the bite moved up and so did the crappie. Some were also hitting the John Deere green and watermelon.
