Hit Rabon at about 7am this morning. Fished our normal spots and the fish were not there. Fished a brush pile in 18' of water and caught about 60 but only three were keepers. A lot of action but no meat for the freezer. Tried a few more spots and then left the lake at noon with only 9 keepers.
Something that made the day great was we saw six deer that wanted to cross the lake but we spooked them. The best thing was about the biggest Eagle I have ever seen perched in a dead tree. What a beautiful sight.

Even though you guys didnt bring many fish home it still sounds like an enjoyable and eventful day. Congrats on your trip.![]()

You bet guys. Even if you are not catching fish, a day on the water is better than a day on the couch. And that eagle was just the icing on the cake.
