    Default muskie

Are there any muskie in russell lake. i was asking cause we were fishing one night about to leave and this fog came down and we couldnt see each other and we were only five foot apart. So we drop weight a put jumbo minnor out, about an hour my rob went down. It was hard to get it out the rod holder, then we say a fish look like muskie thats the only thing we could think of. As we look trying to see if we should put it in the boat my 12 pound line broke like it was only 2. No fish tell but this thing was aleast 3 maybe 4 foot long, with teeth and a big mouth.--have any one else had or have one.

Sounds like a big gar. Not too many musky in these parts, though there are some NC mountain lakes stocked with them.

Simon Peter said to them, "I am going fishing." They said to him, "We are going with you also." They went out and immediately got into the boat, and that night they caught nothing.

And we act like this Nightstalking thing is new.

For some excitment, read the next verse. A special guest arrived, they filled their coolers and had a fish fry on the beach...in the morning. My kind of people.- Bowfin

    Default Northern Pike

Here in Wisconsin they are called Northern Pike. I've got a 28 lb, 48 inch
hanging on the wall. They resemble a Musky do to the long body, big head and some serious teeth. They are very aggressive and will hit most anything.
They catch some biguns thru the ice as well.:D
