after gettin a few chiggers on me the other day in a uncomfortable place i found this report on em on the internet that was some interesting reading. Chiggers!

kyotee man: Let me give you a simple little tip my Granny used and I don't know anyone who picked more blackberrys than her. Take a warm soapy bath with a cap full of Lysol in the water. I gaurentee it to be the best remedy you ever tried. Smiles, G

I found it interesting also but I'm not so sure about the polishes my wife had about 40 whelps on her and the only relief she got was from the finger nail polish that was put on them.

But either way them things is tuff, but now i see why I don't get as many as the ladies do... I got tuff skin, :D:D:D guess its from being around them ladies..

I got in them one time when I was working under a mobile home, there was a lot of leaves under it and I rolled in them. only under there about 2 hours, had over 60 bites on me, most were in my straddle and back side. The only relief I could get was finger nail polish. It works. I was in bad shape for a few days! That was a good read, thanks rango.

yes a good read rango. dont know if you remember back in bout 1976 or so when i got a load of them boogers on me at my brothers place in Ky. had um from the end of my toes to the top of my head and every crack and wrinkle between they were between my toes round my ankles sweetie counted over 50 from the top of my shoe to the top of my sock they were in my eye browes the top of my head --bend of my legs and arms on my back --chest and the crack of my----- well in the fork of my legs :Dput crab kill--sulfer--blue ointment nothing helped till Sweetie sprayed her hair with that good ole $1.00 per gal. breck hair spray soaked them good with that stuff and felt better in an hour or so so many of um it took bout 3 times to get um . dont know if they got there belly full of me or what but i havent had anouther one on me sence--- thank the Lord

Well, ya ll started talking about chiggers, guess WHAT? I just came in from my pasture and felt something on my leg itching! You will never guess what it is!......... Gone to find some finger nail polish.

I hate a chigger.
