Hit lake bout 5:00 a.m. caught bait and headed for Honey Hole area. got lines out by good daylight. nothing for first hour. then the fog rolled in.dangerous fog. couldnt see 20 yards. could still hear bass boats screaming out of Clearwater. had 6 nice cats and one 15.3 lb. Buffalo Carp. caught it on a broke back Rapala we were pulling on a planer board. hooked it in the back. now that was a fight. when fog lifted went over to June Creek area. still pulling planer boards. caught 4 stripes biggest bout 7 lb.and bunch more cats.not a bad day just not a great day. and for Capt. Jim.....those boards worked great. Pop had a ball watchin em flip over when they got hit. THANKS..

That fog on Wateree can be a treacherous time....congrats on the catch..
Some guys just dont have a clue about running SLOW when it's foggy!?!Hopefully they'll wake up before a bad accident happens.

foul hooked carp can be a challenge to get in. especially one that big. good job gettin it in. i am continually amazed theres not more boat incidents when wateree fog rolls in way them bassers zoom around in the pea soup...
