Thread: Murray Striper hunt/7/31

Arrived at Murray about 8 PM Thursday evening. Wind from west at 15 to 20. Swells 2 feet at the boat landing dock. Oh well went anyway after such a long drive. Downlined and trolled till around 7AM Friday. Caught 6 with 5 keepers. Main channel and Jake's creek. Largest fish was 23 inches.

Had to be a tough nite with those high winds and big waves. Looks like you still got a few quality fish though. Congrats on the catch.

Been there done that, them nights get long when nothing happens, When you drive 1.5 hours, its hard to turn around and go home. But I have left at 3 am before and drove home because of storms.
