I read on wistv.com that Wateree is 2 ft above full pond. Reminds me of the flood of Easter 2003 when all the docks around my friend's lakehouse @ Beaver Creek were under water and moored boats drifting about. All the crappie were spawning in his neighbors' flooded shrubs and were caught with a rod length of line and nothing else but a hook and minner. Caught a bass under someone's porch swing too Would it be crazy to fish Wateree this weekend? I would like to have a Deja Vu

You might be able to walk across the lake surface on the mud and trash floating....be careful.

Watch out for the trash floating down but catfish will feast in the moving waters. Fishing up shallow in high water conditions will usually produce extremely well.

Beaver Creek stayed clear and the water was about 3' above normal. I was told that the main river channel had a lot of debree and mud, especially above the State Park. Almost all of the docks are under and I did see a "drifting boat" on Sunday morning.
